Private Antenatal Sessions

A completely bespoke and individual approach to give you everything you need for your birth preparation journey

Private antenatal sessions are a fantastic way to ensure that you get a completely personalised antenatal learning journey.

This can be particularly helpful if you know you have a specific condition or reasons why your labour and birth will be on a different pathway to “normal”, such as knowing you will need to have a caesarean, or an induction, or maybe you are having twins.

A personalised approach with private antenatal classes means that you and your partner can do deep work on all the things most relevant to you. You’ll be guided and supported through the practical and emotional journey of the birth coaching programme, but at your pace, at you place and in a way that works for you and your family.

In addition, we will work towards planning your perfect birth and have regular contact to ensure you are fully supported throughout your pregnancy and birth journey.

You can choose to do a private version of my flagship course, Get Ready for Birth, either via zoom or in-person in Frome). This can be taken all in one day, or in 4 x 2-hour sessions.

Alternatively, you can choose the private antenatal sessions that meet your specific needs, perhaps you have a medical condition that affects your birth plan, or want to focus on a particular aspect of birth preparation? We can work together to build an antenatal curriculum that works perfectly for you.

I booked some private sessions with Eleanor as a way of addressing some anxiety I'd been feeling around day to day life.
The sessions were structured and calming but also really interesting and fun.
It's rare that I have time to sit and reflect on my own feelings and behaviours and the sessions are valuable for that time alone. Eleanor also took me into specific memories and these sessions were incredibly powerful.
I found the 'interuptors' for behaviours and visualisation very effective instantly and am continuing to practice.
Thanks Eleanor for giving me that time to reflect and adjust.

My previous labour and birth were straight forward. You would think this would make me feel ok about this one but no I was just really anxious it is going to be awful and really painful.

After attending the active birth workshop we feel really prepared and a lot more relaxed about having our baby.

After having attended the NCT sessions and having been very disappointed about it, attending Birthzang’s Workshop was exactly what we needed.

We felt like there was too much information online [about birth] to actually get a clear picture. On top of it, a lot of that information contradicts itself or is simply very vague. I was scared of going through the birth experience since we hadn’t been given tools or information hold on to.

Eleanor not only provided us with detailed information of the processes that will occur during labour but went beyond that in helping understand and strengthen the partner's role. We now feel much more confident as we’ve got the tools to go through every step.

We decided to go for the private workshop and it proved to be a big success as we could decide to digress whenever we had questions and we felt we could shape the whole workshop to our own specific needs. On top, we were able to split the workshop into two mornings which was much more comfortable to us than a whole day session and it allowed us to come back next day to solve any doubts and having thought of further questions.

We feel much more confident. My partner knows his role and many different ways to assist during birth and I feel calm as I understand what my body is going to go through and I can hold on to that.

In overall, we would recommend it to any parents-to-be (which we are already doing!) as an amazing way to get rid of your doubts about childbirth and enjoy that peace of mind that comes with knowledge.

A great one-to-one workshop, which was tailored to my needs very well.

Eleanor is welcoming and enthusiastic about active birth, which definitely upped my positivity that I can have my third child naturally.

The workshop wasn’t prescriptive, Eleanor gives good information and encourages confidence in your body, while being realistic!

Thanks, Eleanor, for helping me find my inner calm.”

It made me feel positive and fell ready and know that I’ve got choices and I’m in control of this and it can go how I want it to go.

Even at the hospital learning that you can do things to make it your own space – that was really valuable.

Katie

It wasn’t a high-pressure situation where feeling like we’ve got to feel, say think or do certain things, it was just us in a room, talking about labour: perfect!

Shane

I really wanted to have a positive birth experience the second time around and thought that having a C-section meant I couldn’t have an active & natural birth… how wrong I was!

Thank you for the ongoing support and advice.

Sara

We feel more confident now and believe in the power of my body to give birth.
